Well, I have been living in the free land of Haligonia for a month now. I am adapting just fine. For me it is a weird city. It is kind of a small city, at least compared to Toronto, which is where I was before, but from within the city it seems much bigger. Primarily that it has the high density housing that I always associated with a big city core, and then the city (like most North American cities) has lower density housing at the outer edges of the city. Halifax seems to have a very small region of this. Then the city just ends and the forested areas start, very strange, but also very cool. It is good though, there are good bars with cheapish beer all over the place. There is a big to-do tommorrow night for the Alexander Keith's brewery. So that should be good, lots of free stuff and good beer. To me the beer makes the city.
Now to the pda's. I have started to look at pda's with the desire to obtain one. I started with the palms, but I am not a big fan of any of them mostly for ergonomic/aesthetic reasons. I am looking for a lower-end pda, don't need all the bell's and whistles, but I want something that does the job it is supposed to do and does it well, not just barely does it. Anybody have any suggestions? And the more: I have been listening to a canadian band called "the arcade fire", you an read a review of their latest album here the album is absolutely fantastic and I recommend that everybody give it a listen or five. They are touring soonish, although it might mostly be around Canada, not sure, their live show will blow you away.
